This Privacy Policy explains how Formula Beauty Club ("we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, and protects your personal information when you visit formulabeauty.club ("Site"), join our waitlist, make a purchase, or become a member. By using the Site, you agree to the practices described in this Policy.

1. Information We Collect

Information you provide directly:

  • Waitlist & early access: first name, email address, city/state, phone number, and Instagram handle (optional)
  • Orders & account: name, email, shipping and billing address, phone number, and order history
  • Membership: membership tier, billing preferences, and communications with your personal concierge manager
  • Communications: any information you share when you contact us by email, phone, text, or social media

Payment information. Payments are processed by third-party payment processors. We do not store your full payment card details on our systems.

Information collected automatically. When you visit the Site, we and our service providers automatically collect certain information through cookies and similar technologies, including your IP address, browser type, device information, pages viewed, and how you interact with the Site.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

  • Process and fulfill orders, manage memberships, and provide concierge services
  • Contact you about your waitlist status, early access, and launch updates
  • Send marketing emails and text messages (with your consent — see Section 4)
  • Improve the Site, our products, and our services
  • Analyze Site traffic and measure the effectiveness of our advertising
  • Prevent fraud and comply with legal obligations

4. Marketing Communications

Email. With your consent, we send marketing emails about products, promotions, and Club news. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email or by contacting us at care@formulabeauty.club.

Text messages (SMS). If you provide your phone number and opt in, we may send you text messages about your waitlist status, orders, and promotions. Message frequency varies; message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time or HELP for assistance. Consent to receive texts is not a condition of purchase.

5. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with:

  • Service providers who help us operate the business — including website hosting, data storage (e.g., Google Workspace), payment processing, shipping carriers, email/SMS platforms, and analytics and advertising partners listed in Section 3
  • Legal authorities when required by law, or to protect our rights, safety, or property
  • A successor entity in the event of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, in which case this Policy will continue to apply to your information

Service providers may only use your information to perform services for us and must protect it appropriately.

6. Data Retention

We keep your information only as long as needed for the purposes described above — for example, while your membership or account is active, or as required for tax, legal, or accounting purposes. Waitlist information is retained until launch and for a reasonable period afterward, unless you ask us to delete it.

7. Your Rights & Choices

Depending on your state of residence, you may have the right to:

  • Access the personal information we hold about you
  • Correct inaccurate information
  • Request deletion of your information
  • Opt out of targeted advertising

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards to protect your information. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Children's Privacy

The Site is intended for beauty professionals aged 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has provided us information, contact us and we will delete it.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. Material changes will be communicated by email or a notice on the Site.
